Script Control: Allow or Block JavaScript on Chrome
Script Control is a free Chrome add-on developed by Kai Nightmode that allows users to easily manage JavaScript permissions. With Script Control, users can choose to allow or block JavaScript globally, for multiple domains, or for individual domains. Additionally, the add-on offers light and dark theme preferences for a personalized browsing experience.
One of the limitations of Script Control is that Chrome only allows a maximum of 5000 simple rules (single domain) and 1000 complex rules (multiple domains). If users require more rules, they may want to consider using other extensions such as NoScript or uBlock Origin, which do not rely on Chrome's rule-based technology.
It's worth noting that Script Control modifies security headers at a low level to allow or block JavaScript. If users have another security-focused extension that uses the same technique, there may be potential interference between the two extensions.
